My love of photography did not start by reading books or visiting galleries it evolved through the fascination of the natural world. I have always been an outdoors person and from an early age spent time fishing, hiking and camping outdoors.
I always had access to cameras but never really took an interest until I bought myself my first SLR a Nikon F75. 35mm film meant I had to get good results first time otherwise I’d be wasting time and money and of course loosing the image. The motivation was there to learn the basics and develop my techniques. I then bought my first digital SLR a Nikon D60 I then went to the D7000. I currently use the D7200.
I don’t have a specific genre of subject mostly experimenting with whatever is in front of me but my passion is the outdoors and everything that lives within it.
Having recently moved to England’s South West most of my current work reflects the coastlines and natural wonders of Cornwall. Although there will be the odd capture or two from further afield.
Thank You and enjoy
